Really struggling with a shortlist for our second girl that’s not incredibly overused!

We have a Matilda already, currently known as Tilly. That’s about as common as we’d like to go (and I know it’s still top 30) but also struggling with things that aren’t too matchy matchy - so trying to avoid more sing song a names. We like -

Charlotte
Florence
Clementine (but dislike Clemmie so not a real option)
Violet
Naomi
Keira

The top 2 are too common though really. Anyone had any similar ideas?

Does the heading mean it can't start with the letter A? From your list, my favorites are Violet and Keira.

Izelle/Izella
Magnolia
Skye/Skylar
Jasmine

I like Naomi a lot

I like Violet and Charlotte, but I think Violet is more popular than Florence right now, and Charlotte is done to death. Tilly and Florence is a bit of a twee combo.

Keira is a misspelling - it’s Kiera or originally Ciara. It’s quite nice but not a natural combo with Matilda, if that bothers you.

Maybe…

I really like Naomi.

Matilda makes me think of medieval queens - Isabel, Isabella, Emma, Philippa, Margaret, Anne, Joan and Eleanor.

Eleanor or Isabel might work?

I’ve got a Florence and I’ve not met another one at baby groups/nursery yet! She’s 2 now.
Know of 2 but they are both older.

I have often seen here Violet described as “ elegant” However there’s nothing elegant about it if it’s shortened to Vi, and there really aren’t any other natural diminutives
