Brother or sister for Roman

baby2in2022 · 14/09/2022 20:07

We are due our second baby at the end of the year and are really struggling for names. We don't know the sex.

So far the only two we liked are Ezra or Esmae but I just don't love them.

Open to all suggestions. Nothing too traditional as I want it to compliment my sons name but I don't mind something that may become popular in the future

I know brothers Roman and Quentin. I like both names.

For a girl, Esmae is ok - it makes the pronunciation clear, but its quite an unusual spelling

Lloyd, Ned, Dougal, Autumn, Bracken, Violet,

Alba or Anais for a girl and Rafferty or Sebastian for a boy

I know a Roman. His sisters are Grace and Imogen.

Some great suggestions thank you

@Lilacsunflowers yes deliberate spelling because I'm not a fan of names that can be pronounced in different way. I'm going off it more and more though.

@loveireland love Autumn, baby due in December though so it wouldn't work

@WaffleAndGelato I do love Rafferty but my husband isn't keen and I'm not too sure on two R names

@Rowgtfc72 Imogen was actually on our list if Roman had been a girl xx

@bloominglovelyorange I liked Imogen for Roman but my husband didn't like it with our surname. I didn't see a problem myself. So annoying x
