Help me choose!

Ok so we've narrowed it down to 4 names, 2 girls and 2 boys.
Either:
Sloane or Delilah
Saul or Ezra

Which do you prefer?

Delilah and Ezra

For boys I LOVE Saul (its our top boys name ☺️). So I’d go for that, but I do really like Ezra too.

For girls I think I prefer Delilah.

Delilah & Ezra for me !

Hate the rest, especially Sloane. That is one ugly name.

Delilah and Saul. All i think of when i hear Ezra is George Ezra (not necessarily bad but it’s tainted my view of it)

Saul has such unfortunate namesakes - King Saul, obviously, and it was the name of the Apostle Paul back when he was really into murdering Christians.

Ezra is nice.

I prefer Delilah to Sloane.

Sloane is one of the ugliest names ever, so definitely Delilah. Delilah may be perceived as a little OTT and frilly but it's pretty and lyrical and has the option of being shortened to Lilah.

Saul and Ezra both quite good choices for a boy, I prefer Saul I think.

PS Please don't call your daughter Sloane!

Saul and Delilah would be OK as names if they didn't have such negative (biblical) associations. Ezra I struggle with because my primary association is with Ezra Pound, who was a fascist collaborator and an anti-Semite.

Ezra is an ok name but Ezra Miller is a complete freak and I wouldn't like my child to have anything in common with them.

Saul, although I like Ezra, Saul is really underused.

I think both your girl names are pretty awful sorry. Sloane is dated 80s Americana like Ashley, and Delilah, although not quite as bad, is annoyingly twee.

How about Naomi, Esther or Lois to match your biblical boys choices?

Sloane is hideous. Change your own name to Sloane if you like it that much.
