Too similar?

Thought we were settled on name, baby girl imminently due likely to be called Isabella, shortened to Bella rather than Issy as not really keen on that. However, we already have a DD called Elodie. Bella and Elodie are really bloody similar aren't they? They do have another sibling so it's not just the pair of them. But still, is it a bit daft?

I think they sound fine!

The names themselves don't feel too similar (apart from lots of L sounds) but the possibility of them both deciding to go by Elle/Ella in the future would put me off using them for siblings.

Ellie and Bella are too alike

Not similar at all

Not TOO similar but maybe a bit more than ideal

Could you vary it to the more unusual Isadora and have Dora / Dorey / Dorrie / Dot as a nn

Or Ismene (Is-me-nee / Is-may-nee) and have Mimi
