Names like Ella

We love the name Ella, but think I'm getting cold feet as it's been picked out since I was around 8 weeks pregnant.

I do prefer names that aren't as popular, given I know of quite a few Ella's I think it's potentially putting me off.
DS has a name that you don't come across everyday.

Can someone suggest something similar?

Why not look at a longer name that can shorten to Ella? That way, you can play around with nicknames until you find the one that really fits (which may or may not be Ella)

So consider names that start with the El (Eleanor, Elizabeth, Eloise/a etc) or names that end with Ella (Isabella, Arabella etc)

My daughter went through her full name and two other nicknames, before we found the version that really suited her,

What about Emilia?
