Our current list:
Thomas
Emily
Tonya

Any suggestions are welcome!

I love your children's names. So classy and pretty. 😍I think Thomas goes beautifully and I'm really loving Thomas recently, so please use Thomas for a boy!

The other potential names on your list... well, a couple are lovely, but others just can't compare to your other children's names. Your children's names are so nice, and I find some of your list very plain in comparison.

Emily - goes well with your daughter's names in a way as it's classic, but I feel it's just a bit boring
Tonya - I really hate this. It's a clunky, dated sounded name
Molly - a bit weak in comparison to your other children's names
Rachael - seems dated to me, as a 90s baby, growing up with a million Rachels
William - don't like William. Every William I have ever known has been horrible and had poor personal hygiene so I think I'm biased

From your list I'd definitely choose Nora or Hazel - both interesting, less common but still familiar and pretty and feminine but with a slightly whimsical feel.

Other suggestions for girls:
Flora
Martha
Tabitha
Beatrice/x
Jemima
Lydia

For girls, I like Molly from your list. Prefer Tanya to Tonya.

For boys, I really like William.

bridgetreilly · 24/08/2022 16:21

Not Tonya because of I, Tonya.

ReadtheReviews · 24/08/2022 16:30

Hazel and Molly. Tonya ia out of place.
Re. Boys: Joseph, Christopher, Laurie, Brock, Willem, Robin, Jonathan,

WorriedMum13 · 24/08/2022 16:49

Hazel would go beautifully. I love Thomas for a boy.

Your DDs have fabulous names! I love that they've all got different, definite ending sounds. Of your suggested list, I think both Thomas and William go brilliantly, as would George or James. Emily and Hazel both repeat a first initial that has already been used and Tonya feels really out of sync with the other three. Molly seems like a nickname when compared to the other three whose names lend themselves to various nicknames but give flexibility - what about using Margaret but with Peggy or Maggie as her known as name? Nora works but others I think go well include:
Beatrice
Constance
Dorothy
Flora
Florence
Imogen
Madeleine
Mary
Miriam
Penelope (Nell)
Phoebe
Robyn
Verity

What lovely names your children have

Thomas, Emily, William and Rachel are in a similar mould, and of them I’d go for Thomas or Rachel as less popular right now.

Molly is Ok, but a nick name really / not very elegant compared to your other names. I don’t personally like Nora or Hazel - quite clunky. Tonya is really horrible and made up sounding (sorry).

Thomas - Thomas is nice, not overly exciting but a classic

Emily - pretty but there are alot of them about

Tonya - not a fan and don't think it goes with your other girls. Antonia would be pretty and work though

Molly - nice enough, seems a bit informal compared to your other daughter's
Rachael - nice, though prefer Rachel spelling. I know a 3 year old Rachel

William - dull
Nora - pretty, prefer Norah but it would both mer that DD1 has the middle name Eleanor which can be shortened to Nora. I know I may be in the minority of this bothering me though

Hazel - nice enough

I feel like Beatrice or Beatrix would fit in well or Florence or Annabel

Lydia
Violet

Jasper
Oscar

Wow, there’s a total of 8 ‘E’s in the names of your first three children, so I’d suggest steering away from any more in this name. So not Emily 😬

Mymoneydontjigglejiggle · 24/08/2022 20:49

I think Thomas or William for a boy and Emily or Nora for a girl go best with your current names. Personally I'd opt for William and Nora of those, as the other two are very popular and nearly every 30-something man I know is called Tom!

Lucy Abigail.
Martha Lily.
Isabelle Florence

William Thomas
Thomas William.
William Alexander.
George William
Daniel Joseph
Gabriel Ethan
Christopher James
James Patrick
James Anthony

Alice, Eve and Harriet are lovely.
I'm not sure that many of your list match up to them.
Thomas - nice enough. Goes well if a little more "plain".
Emily - ok. Again a bit more plain
Tonya - don't like at all
Molly - Polly would go much better.
Rachael - is ok. Again not as nice as your other choices
William - I like this. Goes well
Nora - this is probably my favourite of your girls' list
Hazel - I don't think this "fits" very well

Names that I think work well would be:
Alice, Eve, Harriet and....
Beatrice
Cecily
Felicity
Frances
Imogen
Sophia
Tabitha
Rose
Toby / Tobias
Charles
Jonathan
Reuben
Sebastian
