Does anyone know if there are any cultures that don't distinguish gender in given names? I know, for example, in British and American cultures there are unisex names. I wonder if there is a culture where every given name is unisex or, at least, unisex names are more the norm than gendered names. And if there are such societies, then is there another name (e.g. the family name perhaps) that does indicate gender?
