I really love the name Erica. Latin for Heather. Would it be weird if I have a daughter called Phoebe? (Thinking of the Friends connection - but possibly overthinking!)

I love Erica, it’s a great name and is on my list! I definitely don’t think it matters about Friends (only Chandler would be an issuer in that way).

She was the one who gave birth to the twins for Monica and Chandler. Reassured that you don't remember her!

Love it, was on my list for DC 2 but had a boy! I prefer the spelling Erika but either way I wouldn't have associated it with Friends and it goes really well with Phoebe

I’m not actually a fan of the name OP but I don’t know any Ericas and think it’s quite an uncommon name which would be good for your dd. I like friends but wouldn’t associate it with friends, more with stranger things because I have recently been watching it (the character named Erica in it is great btw)

Really love it. Scandi cool, elegant, strong sounding, established but not over-used. A great choice.

I love Erica but DH ruled it out. Something about a streaker in a rugby match way back in oh 1527BC. Very annoying.

Really love it, also prefer the Erika spelling. I watched pretty much every episode of Friends and didn't make any connection between Phoebe and Erika at all. I wouldn't associate it with America either using the Erika spelling, I'd say that has more of a Scandi vibe.

I dislike Eric for a boy but really like the name Erica. Funny that it's a Stranger Things character name as it always reminds me of a cool 1980s American girl.

I didn't make a Friends connection either even though I think I watched nearly all the episodes back when it was first broadcast.
