I'd choose Primrose as first name.

Emilia and Isabel are both sooo overused

Kghl03 · 23/08/2022 18:56

Yes but we like traditional ‘overused’ names as that’s our style and don’t want to give our child a ridiculous trendy name that she doesn’t suit when she’s older. If your not going to pick, don’t comment. Plus, I know of no children names Isabelle or Emilia :))))

Emilia Primrose 😍 both lovely though!

TwoNightStand · 23/08/2022 19:02

Both are nice but I prefer Isabel. Isabel Primrose sounds lovely.

Not that it matters but I prefer Amelia or Amelie to Emilia. I feel like I have to make a real effort to say the ‘Em’ sound in Emilia, if that makes sense. All lovely names though. 😊

Isabel Primrose

NuffSaidSam · 23/08/2022 19:05

I'd go for Isabel.

I think if you want to avoid trendy then Emilia/Amelia is not a good option, it's very of the moment and will age.

Isabel is popular but has been for years and years and years so won't date as much.

I pick Primrose as the first name too, it’s lovely!
I teach loads of Isabelles and Emilias and I’m secondary, so they’re probs on the way out to be honest. In my experience, they tend to be sharp, rather arch personalities, especially the Emilias.

kitcat15 · 23/08/2022 21:01

Neither…primrose is ok though

Jemimapinotduck · 23/08/2022 21:02

Isabel emillia

KangarooKenny · 23/08/2022 21:02

You’re going to spend your life spelling those

LizzieBet14 · 23/08/2022 21:04

Emilia ❤️

pinklavenders · 23/08/2022 21:20

There's loads of Isabella/Isabelle/Isabel/Izzys aged 18 and under - it's been very popular and feels like it's starting to date a little.

DramaAlpaca · 23/08/2022 21:36

I'd call her Isabel Emilia.

I cannot stand Primrose.

Luredbyapomegranate · 24/08/2022 03:20

Isabel

It's more of a classic than Emilia in the UK so stands up to the overuse better

Primrose is the drippiest name in the world.
