Hi,
Currently 35weeks pregnant with child no.3 and no closer to picking a name than I was day one! We just can't agree. We have two DS, Daniel (Danny) and Michael (Mikey). No idea if this baby is aboy or girl so all suggestions are welcome. Also we are Irish, living in Ireland, if that matters.

Some names we've discussed but just don't feel right:

Boys:
Iarlath ( pronounced Ear-la)
Thomas/Tommy

Girls:
Paige
Olivia

Greatful for any help.

Thomas/Tommy fits well with your boys names. I’m not keen on your girls names sorry. Olivia is so overused and Paige is dated. Girls name suggestions are Eliza, Imogen, Cora, Lara, Juliet, Annie, Clara, Maeve.

Olivia is lovely, but very overused in the Uk - I don’t know where it is in Ireland?

Paige is dated and has no history really so I wouldn’t.

Thanks so much everyone. You are swaying me more towards Thomas now (my husband will be delighted). As regards girls names Olivia isn't popular here, well not in our circles anyway, neither of us know an Olivia in real life. I hadn't considered Sam/Sammy and like the sound of it.

Any more suggestions, particularly girls, would be great.

I’m biased as we have a baby Thomas and have had lots of compliments on his name - he’s also the third boy!

If our tastes are similar, our girl list included Anna, Kate, Eve/Eva & Grace. Maybe Danny, Mikey and Katie?

Rory goes well with your other names too, I think.

Thomas would be ideal, or Patrick! Your sons’ names are biblical and he was the saint of Ireland 👌
