Thoughts on Joseph Samuel Bennett?

Joseph was on the list as one name I really like, I also like Owen. Stuck on two names, Joseph I have in mind more. Samuel we picked for the middle name. Does the whole name flow well?

I would assume Joseph Samuel was from fairly devout christian parents. Not a bad thing, but worth knowing the assumptions that might be made about your child.

Joseph and Samuel were both top ten for a while in the late 90s - early 2000s and have well and truly crossed over into secularity. You need to recalibrate your devout Christian radar.

My 17 is Samuel (Sam) there are quite a few in his year but he loves his name. Joseph was also on my list if I had a second, so both great names, but I would probably say Samuel joesph flows better

Joseph is my favourite name. I wasn't allowed it hot ex-boyfriend's name.

Joe is nice as well if he wants to shorten.

I have a little Joseph it was always my favourite boys' name and it still is. It's weirdly popular round here though, despite the statistics - there are two Josephs, a Joey and a Josef in his pre school class! And I have once had someone assume we must be church goers from his name. Not something that had occurred to me, although I did realise I couldn't call his little brother Noah

Love Joseph- I have a early teen nephew who won't let it be shortened. Samuel on the other hand sounds nicer as Sam. Both great choices and it flows well. I don't think people have thought biblical names mean religious parents for decades. I'm a seventies child and every other boy was a Simon, David,Paul, Andrew or Jonathan.
