What do you think of our shortlist for our girl due next month? Complete coincidence that they all begin with M!

Middle name suggestions for any of these are welcome too! 😊

For an idea of the type of names we like, other ideas we had before we got to our top 5 include Grace, Olive, Willa, Ella, Anna, Claudia and Mia. Considering these for a middle name but open to new suggestions too!

I love Maeve and Martha, followed by Maya but that’s less “classic”. The others could be a bit cutesy as they get older. These are also the least common (Maisie and Mabel very popular around here). I like that the above don’t have obvious nicknames either so you’ll get people using their actual names. I know a Martha though whose mum calls her Moo for short which is cute 😊

I love maya but prefer maeva

I’d go for Claudia - lovely and underused, or the classic Anna.

Claudia Anne or Claudia Annabel?? Or Anna Claudia

Grace, Ella, Mia, Maya have all been done to death, Maisie and Willa are wet, and I know Olive and Maeve are popular now but they are very lumpy, kitchen drudge Martha is lumpy with bells on.
