Esther's Middle Name ...

Some ideas (based on the very few names that my husband actually likes):

Esther Genevieve
Esther Iris
Esther Nancy
Esther Clementine
Esther Beatrix
Esther Marnie

Do any of these sound okay? They are all family names or names with a sentimental reason behind them. DH is very picky, it seems, and I've struggled to get more than a few suggestions past him!

I also might give her 2 middle names, as other children have two. So any of these names which work well paired together with any of the others?

For example
Esther Marnie Iris Surname (Iris my granny, Marnie his, so like the meaning behind it but not sure about the flow).

Or any other ideas of a combination of two names which flow nicely? (Or if none, just your favourite middle name please!)

(I know baby doesn't HAVE to have a middle name, but as our other children do, seems a bit mean to not!)

(And is Esther Iris Marnie Surname better than Esther Marnie Iris Surname?

Okay. I'm done now!)

Esther Iris is my favorite. If you want to include Marnie, Esther Marnie Iris flows better, but I prefer the sound with just one middle.

I think Marnie is a bit overused, and I'd agree with PP that Esther Iris flows best. Esther is a fabulous name.

They all are lovely. I like Esther Clementine.

esther iris clementine would be my pick!

Clementine is my favourite but I think the best combination is Esther Beatrix

I like Esther Genevieve best. I think it flows really well and it's nice to have a really distinctive middle name in case you want to use it for something. I don't like all these Rose and Grace and May middle names - what is the actual point of having them? Iris Marnie flows more than Marnie Iris. Although saying them out loud with Esther I think Esther Marnie Iris is easier to say!

How about Esther Iris Genevieve?

I think I might want to keep some of the other names in case we ever have another! (Probably won't, but would be kicking myself if I used my favourite name as a middle and then couldn't use it!)

Iris and Genevieve I'd not use for first names (too close connections to living family, would be weird.)

Agree with a PP who said Marnie was a little overdone.
