Long elegant non-frilly girls names

What sort of names come to mind with this description?

Long (with nickname potential)
Elegant/classic (nothing made up)
Feminine yet strong (not too ‘frilly’ sounding)

I have some ideas of my own but don’t want to sway anyone so would just like immediate thoughts.

Thanks! 😄

Depends what you mean by frilly. I would class Catherine, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Margaret and Alexandra as non-frilly.

Josephine, Juliette, Evangeline, Felicity, Alexandria, Georgiana, Christiana, Annabelle, Jessamine and Isabelle I would class as frilly. Same with Penelope, Persephone and Seraphina.

Not as frilly as Enid Blyton dolls names like Clarabelle and Marybelle though!

I completely agree with this - it's interesting to see where people's 'frilly' threshold is.

Catherine, Elizabeth, Margaret, Rosemary - not frilly.
Ottilie, Alessandra, Anoushka, Lavinia - definition of peak frilly for me.

A lot of the names posted on here are frilly.
I'd say Georgina and Christina aren't particularly frilly but Georgiana and Christiana are.
Isabella and Arabella definitely frilly
