A sibling for Ivo

Pregnant with number 2, will be finding out sex but not there yet.

Little boy is Ivo, which we both loved and had no other strong contenders for a boys name. We had Cressida for a girl but now I’ve had an actual child I’ve called a name for 2 years I’ve gone off it (shame as DH still loves it!) same for Octavia, loved it but seems too much now.

All the boys names I like have o’s on the end (Jago, Cosmo…) but I think we’ve used our one o ending name, don’t want too matchy. Love Gus but DH isn’t keen. Really like Griffin which he does like but not 100% yet. Atticus and Felix have been mentioned. Tend to like shorter boys names.

For a girl I like Mabel, it’s more ‘popular’ than I’d usually go for but is a family name. Tabitha has been mentioned.
Surname is common with 3 syllables.

Would love ideas, especially in the ‘older, less common but still proper names’ camp.

Nothing wrong with Cressida or Octavia but you'd probably have to be prepared with a shorter form for everyday (Cress? Tavy?) Also Angus, Fergus, or Magnus could work with Gus as an optional diminutive.

I really like Atticus, or Angus nn Gus? Not mad on Griffin. Quite like Tabitha. I think Mabel has had it’s day in all honesty
