Cassie - there was a beautiful Cassandra at my school known as Cassie, I do like the long version
Roseanne - oh, objectively I do like it very much but for me it is always Roseanne Barr/ the sitcom. Rosanna?
Acacia - I know it is a tree but it makes me think of windows
Lucinda - lovely
Chloe - lovely
Sabrina - teenage witch or Audrey Hepburn. Nothing wrong with that! Just what I think of. Sabrinas definitely have pony tails.
Kara - favourite out of all your choices
Libby - absolutely love it, but as a shortening for Elizabeth

Boys names:
Austin - for me it is a car but probably only because I am old.
Reece - reminds me of peanut butter cups. I think I prefer Rhys.
Leon - OK
Lewis - OK
Jace - Objectively I do like the sound, but it does sound like it is short for Jason.
Ethan - nice
Sam - My favourite of your choices… you can tell by now I am going to say I prefer it short for Samuel. I’m a long name , give a child some options, person.
Tommy - Peaky Blinders! Like it but as above.

Obviously these are just my opinions as you asked, if I met a Reece I would never go “oh like the peanut butter sweets!”

nlr1 · 25/07/2022 16:29

Girls names:
Cassie- I like it
Roseanne- Feels more like two names squished together, I think Rosanna flows better.
Acacia- It’s okay but not my style.
Lucinda- quite nice
Chloe- a nice name, used to be very popular but I feel like you don’t see many little Chloe’s anymore.
Sabrina- probably my favourite out of your girls names.
Kara- it’s okay
Libby- nice

Boys names:
Austin- nice
Reece- Prefer Rhys spelling
Leon- not keen
Lewis- nice
Jace- not that keen but okay as short for Jason
Ethan- okay
Sam- nice
Tommy- as long as full name is Thomas it’s nice

AppleBottomRats · 25/07/2022 16:55

Is acacia actually a name? Never come across it as anything other than a plant before.

I like Cassie as a nickname for Cassandra and Libby as a nickname for Elizabeth but don’t like your other girls’ names.

From your boys’ names I like Ethan and Sam as a nickname for Samuel. Rhys is ok. Jace is very teen mom.

Amdone123 · 25/07/2022 16:57

Your girls ' names, I like Lucinda and Libby ( if short for Olivia or Elizabeth).
Boys - Ethan, at a push.
Samuel is lovely.

They're all a bit dated to me, sorry !

Ignoranceisbliss44 · 25/07/2022 17:43

Girls names:
Cassie - Pretty. I also like Cassia.
Roseanne - I like but definitely prefer Rosanna.
Acacia - Is this pronounced Ak-ay-sha or Ak-ay-see-a?
Lucinda - I'm not sure about, but love Lucy.
Chloe - I like. There were lots of them as babies when I had my first baby in 1999 (it literally seemed every other baby we met was a Chloe back then), but don't know of any little ones now.
Sabrina - This is really pretty. I've never met one in person.
Kara - I love this but prefer the Cara spelling.
Libby - It's OK as short form of Elizabeth.

Boys names:
Austin - Not keen sorry.
Reece - I like but prefer the Rhys spelling.
Leon - I like this but know of quite a few.
Lewis - I really like and this is my preferred spelling.
Jace - Very trendy but I just see it as a short form of Jason as all the Jasons of my era were known as Jace/ Jase. I only know of one little Jace. I don't know any in person however.
Ethan - It's OK but quite a few about.
Sam - I really like this as an independent name as not over struck on Samuel.
Tommy - I love but short for Thomas.

Girls names:
Cassie - quite like it but love Cassandra so would use that and maybe nn Cassie.
Roseanne - not keen but do like Rosanna even though they're so similar.
Acacia - pretty but never come across it as a human name before.
Lucinda - not keen. Lucy is sweet?
Chloe - like it but not very interesting.
Sabrina - not keen. I can't not add 'the teenage witch' in my head.
Kara - quite like it but prefer it spelled Cara.
Libby - not keen. Maybe as a nn for Elizabeth.

Boys names:
Austin - like it.
Reece - It's ok but isn't this the female spelling? Thought boys spelled it Rhys?
Leon - quite like it. Prefer Leo.
Lewis - really like it.
Jace - I can't see this as a full name. Nickname for Jason or something, surely?
Ethan - it's ok
Sam - like it but not interesting - there are just so many. Would use Samuel.
Tommy - like it if full name Thomas.

I think I would would choose Cassie and Lewis.
