I was a big boyzone fan, but it wouldn't enter my head to be honest. I know quite a few Ronans though. It's a lovely name. I'd use it myself if we didn't have a close family member with the name.

No! I love the name Ronan. It was my first choice of boys names but my partner wasn't keen unfortunately. I was friends with a Ronan at school who was lovely, and have met other Ronans since so I don't associate the name with Ronan Keating at all. I think it's a much more commonly used name in Ireland/Northern Ireland/Scotland than in England?
