I’m thinking of names like James, Sarah and so on - can I have your input?

I really like James. Others I'd put in the same category, for boys: Adam, Alexander, Benjamin, Daniel, George, Henry, Louis, Luke, Thomas, William. Classic but less popular at the moment: Andrew, Charles, Christian, David, Edward, Eric, Hugh, John, Jonathan, Joseph, Martin, Matthew, Mark, Michael, Nicholas, Richard, Robert, Paul, Peter.

For girls: Alexandra, Alice, Anna, Catherine/Katharine, Charlotte, Elizabeth, Emily, Louisa/Louise, Lucy, Rose. Classic but less popular right now: Ann(e), Barbara, Caroline, Helen(a), Jane, Margaret, Mary, Martha, Patricia, Rachel, Rebecca, Susan(nah), Victoria.
