Hi everyone,

We love the names Imogen, Emilia and Millie but can’t decide, what’s your favourite?

Imogen - short for Immy unless anyone has any other nickname ideas?

Emilia short for Emmie or Millie

or Millie as stand alone.

Love the middle names Primrose, Roselle, Rosella and Rose. Has to have a Rose reference

thanks!

Emilia Primrose is beautiful - shortened to Millie. Perfect!

blueskyeve · 22/07/2022 17:43

I love the name Imogen! Imogen Rose sounds lovely.

I do really like Emilia and Millie too. All beautiful names including the middle names.

SunshineAndFizz · 22/07/2022 17:43

Immy, Millie, Emmy are all a bit too girlie/cutsie for me, fine for a baby but don't always work for an adult.

Rose is beautiful.

SirVixofVixHall · 22/07/2022 17:44

I like Imogen. The one I know is sometimes called Mo.

SirVixofVixHall · 22/07/2022 17:45

Agree with pp on Imogen Rose.

Spidey66 · 22/07/2022 17:47

All lovely, but I'd choose Emilia with Millie as a nickname.

Crikeyalmighty · 22/07/2022 17:50

Imogen Rose is lovely!!

theclangersarecoming · 22/07/2022 17:52

Imogen Primrose is also lovely. I like Emilia Rose too - and the Emilia I know is Millie for short.

SpaceJamtart · 22/07/2022 17:53

I really like Emilia and Imogen, I know one Imogen who gets called Ginny.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 22/07/2022 17:56

Emilia Primrose (Emmie)

Pemba · 22/07/2022 17:56

Imogen Rose is gorgeous, for short you could have Immy, Imo, Genny (Jenny).

Millie is very sweet perhaps a bit girly, and needs to be short for a longer name.
I never really see the point of Emilia, why not Amelia or Emily? Or Emmeline is nice.

ariesalien · 22/07/2022 19:49

Imogen Rose (Immy) probably sounds the nicest.
Imogen Primrose is slightly more interesting, but I definitely prefer Imogen to Emilia and definitely more than Millie as a stand-alone.

I met a 90 year old Imogen - known as Moggie! The NN was given by her school friends, she told me, rather than family.

Workinghardeveryday · 22/07/2022 19:56

our Imogen has shortened over the years to Gena or Mojo.lovely name

17caterpillars1mouse · 22/07/2022 20:00

Imogen Primrose is beautiful.

I find Emilia boring as it's so common. For Emmie I'd choose Emmeline.

I like Millie but prefer Imogen

KarrotKake · 22/07/2022 20:02

I initially read Emilia as Emelia. I assume they are actually pronounced differently? Not sure that that bothers you.

Agree with some comments above - Imogen Rose is beautiful. I know Imogens called Mogs and Immy.

SalviaOfficinalis · 22/07/2022 20:02

I love Imogen.

Emilia is nice but Amelia/Emilia/Amelie/Millie are very popular at the moment. I think Imogen is a bit more distinct somehow.

I also love Rosa for a middle name option.

20viona · 22/07/2022 20:04

Imogen or what about Amelie

AmandaMirandaPanda · 22/07/2022 20:05

Imogen is my favourite of these. Immy is OK, but I also know an Imogen who goes by Imo, which suits her.

I case you wanted any more "rose" (middle) names, my favourites are Rosalie, Rosalia, and Rosario. But just plain Rose is nice too; I'd just go with whatever works best with your surname.

KylieCharlene · 22/07/2022 20:09

Imogen Rose is beautiful.
I also like Imogen Rosalie.

ladygindiva · 22/07/2022 20:22

I love Imogen. Dd has a friend called Rosabel which I think is the nicest Rose themed name I've heard.

Goodnewsday · 22/07/2022 20:23

Millie or Imogen, hard to choose which!

NatalieH2220 · 22/07/2022 20:24

Imogen Rose definitely

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 22/07/2022 20:29

Emilia Primrose, Milly for short. Avoid Rose as a middle name, it's currently SO overused!

theclangersarecoming · 22/07/2022 23:11

Why not Imogen Emilia?
