Unsure on my daughters name

Hi
my Daughter is 6 months old and names Indie. I am really unsure on the name but my husband definitely won’t agree to changing it (I loved the name Alba but he didn’t like it )
6 months on I still can’t get used to it- obviously it’s already a nickname but can anyone think of another nickname for it ? Indie just doesn’t seem like a baby name ! I do think she will grow into it but just not at the moment.

Indie is nice, I’m sure you’ll get used to it as she grows up. DeeDee would be a cute nn. My cousin has a name beginning with D and was known as this when young, she’s now just Dee as she’s older.

I’ve felt like this about all my children's names. Loved them but they just seem too big on a baby! Once they’re toddlers they suit them perfectly. As PP said, DeeDee is a very cute nn for a baby, so that might work until she’s bigger.

DD/Didi/Deedee for sure. So cute. Or you could lengthen it to India/Indigo/Indiana? I know a little girl Indiana.

My daughter is 3 months old, has a 3 letter name and we already shorten it to something entirely unrelated😄 can’t help it.

Would he agree to changing it to Indigo, if you said you wanted less of a nn?

Then you could make a stealth move to Didi

Did or Dee.
