I like Ella but it’s very overused - in DDs year there are 7 of them! Maybe as a nickname for Isabella?

Mittens1717 · 14/07/2022 18:09

Lily, very popular but lovely

Jennylou88 · 14/07/2022 20:53

Leah 😊

Leah is biblical sk has a strong background. The others are a bit nothing-y.

Leah is only pronounced Lee-uh, there isn't another pronunciation?

Divebar2021 · 15/07/2022 06:21

How about Lillian with a nickname of Lily? I do not like Leah at all and the others seem to be very common… especially Mia in my area.

JasmineVioletRose · 15/07/2022 06:24

Leah.

ColmanFlamingo · 15/07/2022 06:39

I like Leia and I love Star Wars.

There are sooooo many Ellas... she'd be Ella A or Ella P or whatever

JennyForeigner · 15/07/2022 06:45

I like them all, but mostly I like how Leah Leia Ella Mia sounds like the heroine of my new favorite children's book

Arnaquer · 15/07/2022 08:41

All very dated.
Leah the nicest.

RenegadeMatron · 15/07/2022 08:44

They are all much of a muchness, very much of this era, and so will date. This generation’s Jennifer, Nicola, Joanne, Karen, etc, etc.

The only vaguely timeless name on the list is Leah.

It’s a Jewish name - we pronounce it Lay-uh.

RenegadeMatron · 15/07/2022 08:45

And I always think Elle is a much nicer alternative to the ubiquitous Ella….

tukker · 15/07/2022 08:47

I like Leah but then I'm biased 😁
