Figures on popularity are available on names.darkgreener.com/

Theodore is very popular as is Theo. Add the figures together and it's the most popular name in England and Wales

KirstenBlest · 05/07/2022 11:32

Byron - quite a lot to live up to, he might not be byronic
Jude - loved on mn but I don't like it
Jett - fine for a dog
Felix - ok

WishILivedInThrushGreen · 05/07/2022 13:21

Loads of Theos around at the moment. Theodore will very quickly be shortened.

Jett .... no.

FlissyPaps · 05/07/2022 13:41

Theodore - Not keen. Prefer Theo
Byron - Don’t like. Know a few people with surname Byron. Also might get mistaken for Brion/Brian.
Jude - Love. This is top of my own list.
Jett - Bit on the fence. But swaying more towards like.
Felix - Don’t like. Reminds me of the cat food advert.

MissEmily5 · 05/07/2022 20:39

I love Jett! So cool!

mondler · 05/07/2022 20:40

I know a fair few little theo/ theodores, 2 Judes and 1 Felix. I'm South East. I prefer Jude from your list.

PurpleVioletBlue · 05/07/2022 20:58

Theodore - I think Theo is quite popular. I only know one though,a teenager. I prefer it to Theodore, which reminds me of chipmunks.
Byron - bit much I think
Jude - nice, quite trendy, may date.
Jett - awful
Felix - like it, not too popular, only know one, around 10 years - it's the one I'd go for from your list.

Other suggestions - Joel, Fraser, Bryn, Leon, Luca, River, Heath.

17caterpillars1mouse · 05/07/2022 21:03

theodore - I like Theodore but dislike Ted and Teddy so would avoid. Plus it's very popular

byron - awful. I went to school with a Byron and he hated his name.

jude I I like Jude but prefer as a NN for Judah

jett - makes a cool middle name but a bit silly as a first name

felix - cat name

User000111 · 05/07/2022 21:15

Jude is a lovely name! My fav on the list!

KosherDill · 05/07/2022 21:20

Jett: just, no.

MissyCooperismyShero · 05/07/2022 22:01

Judah would be great. No to the others.

Mumofgirls2017 · 05/07/2022 22:07

I quite like them all, probably choose Theodore although it’s the most popular. Byron probably least common

Luredbyapomegranate · 06/07/2022 00:10

Jude - great, not overused
Felix - nice enough, fairly popular ten to twenty years ago, less now

theodore - great but done to death

byron - ridiculous
jett - ridiculous and low rent
