Middle name for Luca

Suggestions please.
Not another Italian name (as we have no Italian ties, we just like the name Luca).
Surname is 2 syllables beginning in a hard "C"

I was going to suggest Dominic but it may not flow with your surname - you’d have to say it out loud and see! It’s a tricky name to match, I think.

How about:

(Which is not to say it isn’t a lovely name!)

I think I’d go with a slightly longer middle name personally, to balance out the shorter first name and surname.

Do people just make up middle names? I guess that’s a daft question because clearly some people do. To me a child only gets a middle name for a reason. My eldest doesn’t have a middle name. My second has a middle name after a close relative who died a few months before she was born. My 3rd child and first boy has the same middle name as his dad and grandad. I’ve got a long daft name for no reason and it pisses me off! 😂

Though middle names are pointless, really, unless they mean something. I wouldn't stress about it if you don't find one.

I think 3 syllables is best, and something soft sounding as Luca is quite sharp (eg I don’t think Luca Dominic works).

Although strong arguments for Zade 😁

Not sure if Luca Carter or whatever the surname is sounds good

Middle names are hardly ever used, but the name of a relative is an option or the mother's maiden name

Thanks for the suggestions. Where I'm from everyone has a middle name 🤷🏻‍♀️ While it won't often be used, I still want to pick something that flows.
