Casper, Franklin or Charles

For our DS due in October? Personally I prefer just Frank to Franklin but DP is adamant on Franklin over Frank if that is the chosen name
Any other similar suggestions?

Casper will be spelt Caspar and Franklin is too american

Charles can be Charlie, Chas or Charles or Chuck if you like american names

Frank is a favourite of mine and, like you, I far prefer the simple form as opposed to Franklin. However, I don't find Franklin completely objectionable.

Casper is a very good name!

Of those three I prefer Franklin. And Franklin over Frank.

I vote Caspar, by a long shot. Franklin second.

Caspar - Cass was on my short list but as Cassius but it wasn't chosen in the end. Lovely name though.

I like all of them and agree with your DH to go with the longer version Franklin regardless of if you end up using Frank.

Casper by miles, Franklin is just ok and I don’t like Charles and really don’t like Charlie.
