Expecting another baby and already thinking of what we could have:
Girl choices would be:
Daisy, Sofia and my DH likes Isla but think it may be too similar? Or do we just go with what we like instead of worrying they are quite similar.

Help!
Thanks!

Sofia is just beautiful and goes well.

I think Isla and Orla are v similar.

What about Isabelle or Elodie?

NewtoHolland · 08/06/2022 23:54

Yep Orla and Isla would be tricky, but Sofia works really well :)

Orla and Isla is a ridiculous combo.

Daisy and Violet mean poor Orla is left out of the flower party.

Orla Violet, and Sofia works best.

Sofia

I would go with something ending in a E sound ...

Orla, Violet and :

Emily
Cassie
Hilary
Lucy
Penelope
Zoe
Felicity

I prefer Daisy or Sofia with your other 2

Daisy and Violet is a bit flower themed. But if you're happy with that, then Iris would be my suggestion.

I don't like Sofia/Sophia at all - I prefer Sophie but still not that keen.

Love Isla. I think it depends on your accent if it works with Orla - in my (Scottish) accent they sound very different to each other.

If you'd consider another Irish name - Maeve, Una, Eimear, Eilish?

I think Sofia works very well with Orla and Violet.

Isla is too like Orla, in my opinion, and Daisy is too 'themey' with Violet.

Luredbyapomegranate · 09/06/2022 22:43

Orla and Violet are a nice sparky combination

Isla is too similar, Daisy too wet and flower themed. Sofia is lovely but done to death - Sophie a bit less overused
