Which do you prefer of Max or Felix and why?

Any associations you have with either name?

Thanks!

Are you having a baby or a cat? Grin

I do like Max, though.

There are a lot of Max's aged around 15-18. Felix is more unusual. So I think I would go with Felix.

Max

It’s a solid neutral name, like a less overused Jack. I do prefer it as a diminutive of Maximilian though

Felix isn’t awful awful but I don’t like it and it makes me think of cats

Depends on whether you're having a dog or a cat sorry

Max! But I am biased 🙃

We we’re going to go with the full Maximilian but we thought that was a bit much.

what do we call him though? Maximilian 🤣

Felix, I love names that could equally be pet names! I think Max is a bit popular as well and I prefer slightly less used names.

Max is a dog’s name, Felix is a cat’s name.

Felix is a very well known brand of cat food 🐈 in the UK.

Maximilian nickname Max is better for a human.

I like both names.
I prefer Felix - great name and meaning - but the cat food puts me off, so I'd have to go with Max.

I like Max. Hate Maximilian but do like the French name Maxime.

I've met a couple of toddler Felixs recently. I think for their generation it will be a normal name, but for me it's 'cats like Felix like Felix'.

Max. Felix makes me think of cat food and I know a 14 year old Felix and he’s not a nice kid (still just a kid so obviously time to change!).

Much prefer Felix. Max is just bland.

I love them both! I'm biased towards Max though since I have my own. He's just Max though. It's not short for anything.
