Names someone would like if they like Joanie and June

At a bit of an impasse with DH over baby name. He loves Joanie (originally Joni but I worried about the unconventional spelling) and struggles to entertain another name. I like it, but not sure it’s ‘the one’.

We both quite like June, which is along the same lines. I guess because it’s similar.

It doesn’t need to start with J!

Any ideas for names that might appeal to his tastes?

I think Joni spelt that way is well known and seems like a complete name. Joanie looks more like a shortening in which case I agree that Joanna and johanna and things like that are nice if you don't want Joan which does seem a bit plain maybe? There is an unusual name jonquil I've heard before. Which could be shortened. I think Joni on its own is fine though. I do think trying to avoid every word that can be a possible product or sounds like is a losing game. Unless it's really well known and everywhere or something very rude that kids will be horrid about I'd be inclined not to listen to every association people say on forums. It's endless otherwise.
