I really like Clemency which I came across recently nn. Clemmie

wondering what other similar names I.e similar type/style

I know one with the same nickname and she's lovely!

Really don't like it and Clemmie sounds like Clammy but it's not my baby so if you like it go for it!

I love Clemency and I also love Felicity and Verity. Maybe Mercy?

Clemency has quite a negative connotation.

Clems is ball bag up here or a stone in weight.
It sounds like some sort of condition too or a state of something. Not a name.

Unless the act of forgiveness is what you're going for? In which case Mercy is better - my great grandmother was called Mercy.

Reminds me a bit of when my friend called her daughter Chastity because she liked the way it sounds and she had heard it on a film character.
She didn't know what it meant and was quite upset when she found out

No it has negative connotations for me. Not keen on virtue names full stop, but particularly don't like Clemency.

I'f you want something similar I'd go Clementine, then can still be nn Clemmie. Clemency should only be used for people on death row.

Any more than I associate Nick with stealing or police stations.

Why? It simply means mercy or lenience.

Kate Silverton's daughter is called Clemency. I don't dislike it but prefer Clementine which you could also use the nickname Clemmie,
