my sweet baby girl is due in October. Her first name is Amira. Would you all please help me come up with a middle name that begins with the letter R.

Sorry, but after Amira, any first name beginning with 'R' is not going to flow well. Because of the R in Amira. For example Amira Rose, both pretty names individually but put them together it just sounds a bit 'ruh-ruh'. IMO of course.
Something like Amira Jade, Amira Jasmine, Amira Fay or Amira Lily would work well.

I think it depends a bit how long your surname is - one syllable and I'd go for a longer middle name, 3+ I'd go for a short one and 2 you could go either way.

I actually felt the same… but my husband wants our kids to have the same initials. And changing Amira isn’t a options.

Would ye consider no middle name considering ye can't agree on one and don't have one to represent a family member?

Marie was THE 2nd choice until we decided to give our kids the same initial. Marie is our family middle name.

Has your husband considered that kids having the same initials can be confusing/annoying when letters come etc with just initials and surname?
