Imogen, Sabrina, Juliet or Cassandra?

What do you think? Any other suggestions?
Rosekeeper · 10/05/2022 14:06
All beautiful options and hard to pick between! I would ask whether any of the associated nicknames would make any difference to how you felt about them? Imo, Sab, Jules, Cassie? I know we often pick names not planning to use a nickname but often these are adopted by friends/family etc so I wouldn’t pick a name if I didn’t like an obvious nickname for it.
I think I would lean towards Sabrina but I do have a love for the nickname Cassie so could be tempted by Cassandra too.
mediciempire · 10/05/2022 14:22
Leaning towards Sabrina because it is a bit more unusual but my second choice would be Juliet.
Tryhard40 · 10/05/2022 14:25
I really love all of those names.
I would maybe err on the side of Sabrina (and because I love the film with Audrey H) or Cassandra as they're more unusual. Cassandra will inevitably be shortened to Cassie so bear that in mind.

I like Sabrina. Well known but not overused, has a bit of zhuzh, works well internationally. I love the Audrey Hepburn film too.
ABrightSilverLining · 10/05/2022 15:09
My favourite is Sabrina.
Bimster · 10/05/2022 15:12
Cassandra- beautiful name but a sad story. Also Rodney's girlfriend for those of a certain again.

Juliet is the best one but it's getting popular at the moment.
Sabrina reminds me of the witch.
elfran · 10/05/2022 16:00
Imogen a million times over, I love it. Nn Mo or Mimi if you're looking to avoid Immy.
The others are perfectly lovely but a tad frilly for me personally.
Neverreturntoathread · 10/05/2022 16:04
All lovely, I prefer Juliet. Similar options:
- Iona
- Julietta
- Cassia
- Inara

Love Imogen and close second would be Juliet
MajorCarolDanvers · 10/05/2022 16:24
Imogen and Juliet are lovely.
Sabrina the Teenage With and Cassandra are too over the top for me.
pilates · 10/05/2022 16:26
I only like Imogen
FlorianImogen · 10/05/2022 16:27
Imogen reminds me of the Waitrose gooseberry and cinnamon yogurt sketch.
Chaoslatte · 10/05/2022 16:31
I prefer Julia to Juliet, that or Cassandra would be my pick. Imogen is too popular and I don’t like Sabrina.
Yika · 10/05/2022 16:48

Nice list. I have a soft spot for Cassandra as I think it's a spectacular name whilst being well known and I love Cass and Cassie. Whilst nice, I don't think I'd like to be called Juliet as I think it would be tricky to live down in the same way as being called Romeo. I think Julia is quite nice. I know a Juliana too. Which is nice. I just think Romeo and Juliet is so studied at school it might be embarrassing for a teen. I don't like Immy at all though imogen's quite nice. I feel I should like Sabrina more than I do. As there is a lot of Shakespeare here I do quite like Rosalind.
Princessoftheuniverse · 10/05/2022 19:08
Juliet by a mile. It’s a lovely name. I also like Julia.
MrsEricBana · 10/05/2022 19:10
Juliet here too.
