I seem to be going through a phase of loving A names so looking for opinions on a few

Girls:

Aleydis ( a name I came across in 'girl with a pearl earring' - pronounced A-lay-dis/z)

I like April and Alaric! Classic and beautiful names that aren't overused and therefore easily memorable!

Alex(ander/andra) is very common so not very memorable.

Alexander is the only one I like, sorry!

I like Aleydis and Alaric

Not a fan of Adaline but Adelina is nice if you'd considered that?

Don't like any of the boys names. The only boys name I like starting with A is Adam.

I only like Alexandra and Alexander from your lists

I like Adeline, April, Amelie, Ava and Aria

April and Aiden are my favourite.

Not keen on your girls names - have you considered Anastasia?

girls - anne, Annie, anna are all lovely, I have a soft spot for agata, Agatha and Agnes but i suspect you would need to be very chic.

boys - Alexander such a nice name.

I love all the Alice names...Alyssa, Alessa, Alicia ( see a not sha) but cant have one as it sounds too similar to dd1

I'd like to see Alaric make a come-back from the fifth century. Good on the original Alaric for defending Europe from Rome. Maybe Al for short?

For the girls, Aleydis is an elegant Dutch name that should work quite well in English. It is in the Adalheidis group, which includes Adele, Alice, Alison, Alicia, Alyssa, Adelaide, Adeline and Heidi, so worth reviving if you want some tradition behind you. Do it! It's lovely.

Alexander/Alexandra are nice but over-used. Aiden is dated. April -- too late in the year for this.

Antoinette is very chic!

Love April and Adaline not a big fan of the others I don't mind Aleydis but it's a bit much for me I prefer Alaia similar sounding but shorter and sweeter in my opinion
