Hard question! My oldest son actually was named after a TV show character, but it’s not obvious - more like named Thomas after Downton Abbey than Joffrey after Game of Thrones. Not either of those named obviously! But a plain/normal name not obviously linked to the TV show.

I think I’d do Emily (Criminal Minds) and Matthew as in Daredevil. Just because I really like those names. I would have liked to name ds8 Matthew but it sounds wrong with our surname.

Actually maybe also Johnny from Cobra Kai. I really like the name John/Johnny but DH just would not consider it. He was really horrified.

I think I would use Lorelei (from Gilmore Girls, but spelled slightly differently) and either Gideon or Reid (Criminal Minds).

His name is so difficult to spell and pronounce that nobody says it for the first five seasons of the show.

Boy: Vincent (after Vincent Price not technically a character but still).

Girl: Wednesday (after Wednesday Addams)

Khaleesi - I love it but would never be brave enough to call my daughter it.

Not an unusual name but if I called DS Harry everyone I would think I called my child after Harry Potter.

daisyjgrey I get it's not everyone's cup of tea. My dh would even consider it 😂 and I didn't actually use it. Three girls and I didn't use it. But I would have loved to.
