I'm after some thoughts on a selection of boy names that we like:

Shay
Joss
Lando

Please feel free to add any similar names we may also like.

I like them all! I've heard shay as a girls name but it's rare for both sexes so that doesn't matter

I really like Joss. It was on our shortlist for DS1.

Shay seems misspelled to me (I know it isn't), and Lando isn't my style (too Star Wars).

I only know a female Shay. Joss is often a female name too, but I do like it.

There are so many Josh's around I wonder if people would mix Joss up with that. It's still my favourite though

I like Joss. I prefer Shea to Shay.

Shay - nota fan, feels insubstantial and a touch dated to me
Joss - like Joss
Lando - I like Lando, but makes me think of the F1 driver. I prefer Orlando with Lando for short.

Jago, Kit, Orin, Sacha, Stellan all kinda seem along similar lines, but Shay, Joss and Lando seem a bit disparate, so not easy to find names which match!

Shay - don't like
Joss - ok if short for Joseph
Lando - F1 driver, alernatives: Lewis, Max, Sebastian

I like Shay. Nice bog-standard shortening for Séamus. No wonder MN hates it.

Joss - Joss Whedon, Joss Stone, joss sticks... I have a bunch of random associations for this name and I don't personally see its appeal.
Shay - A bit too brief for me, but fine.
Lando - This just reminds me of the Star Wars character. I honestly had no idea it was a real name until now.

Joss - yes
Shay - no no no (working in a secondary school put me off)
Lando - I like Lando Norris but prefer Orlando as a name.

Hate Lando. Sounds like a dog name to me.
