What are your opinions on these names and what's your favourite and least favourite? Thanks.

I like Freya and Louisa the best.
Cecily is lovely, I used to know one but everyone called her Cece.

Emma - sounds bland to me
Alice - it's okay, I prefer Alicia or Alix, and also it's really popular judging by MN.
Lucy - much prefer Lucia, lovely meaning either way
Louisa - prefer Louise but it's a bit boring
Maria - god no. Must be one of the most common names in the world.
Freya - it's lovely and my favourite in your list but as you said, shockingly popular and will date.
Rose - not keen on flower names, they feel dainty and delicate, I prefer a strong kickass name for my girls but obviously you may feel differently.
Eve - hmm. Not keen on the whole Eden garden story and it's a really short names, feels curt and abrupt to me. I'd much prefer Evelyn.

Also I'd say Cecily is far from being a daring or outlandish name, if you like it use it !

For me first names are all rather wet and boring, especially Lucy, Alice and Emma. Sorry!!

Louisa and Maria I like better, Eve also nice. Not a fan of Freya but only because I don’t like the sound of it, Rose another no.

Favourites: Alice (convinced this is due a comeback, such a good solid girls name without being fussy!) and Freya (I know two and they're both great which makes me love it)

I like Rose, classic and uncomplicated.

Really don't like: Emma, Lucy, Louisa (feel very 80/90s - I went to school with a million Emmas and Lucys, and Louisa just feels like it hasn't come back into style yet), Maria (feels old fashioned - makes me think of the Sound of Music haha).

Favourites are Rose or Lucy.

The others are popular for a reason but perhaps a bit too popular for me.

If you like Eve then why not use Evelyn? Can be shortened to Eve but is 'different' enough despite being a classic name?

Maria is ok but prefer Mary

I like Eve but Evie/Eva/Ava/Evelyn have been overused
Not keen on Rose and it's too popular as a middle name.
Not keen on Freya

In that order, the rest way too overused, except Maria which I just don’t like. Lucy is both wet and overused.

Stella, Honor, Esther, Marianne, Serena, Claudia, Verity, Cecile, Frances might be less popular options

I really don't like the name Freya.

Emma is dull.

Alice and Maria are lovely. Beautiful, classic names. Rose, Lucy, Louisa and Eve also nice enough but I don't love them as much.

Louisa is gorgeous and relatively uncommon.
I love Rose as a first name but dislike Rosie.
Freya, Emma, Alice and Lucy have a similar feel to me - pretty but popular.
I don't like Eve or Maria.

In order of preference:
Maria - timeless, beautiful, universal. Mary was an awesome Biblical character.
Alice - suits any age. Whimsical and pretty.
Louisa - very elegant and literary (Louisa May Alcott)
Lucy - nice meaning. I've never met a Lucy I haven't liked.
Emma - personally not that keen. It's just too common to have any interesting connotations for me.

Love Alice- timeless and suits all ages.

Not a fan of Maria- very of it's time. Can't image a Maria under 40years of age.

Love: Emma, Alice, Lucy, Eve. Hard to pick one favourite out of these but possibly Alice.

Like: Louisa (slightly prefer Louise but Louisa is nice too), Rose

Neutral about: Freya (it's not my usual style but I kind of like it on other people's children)

Don't like, but mainly because of one person: Maria. Love Mary though.

I like Louisa. It's less common and prettier than Louise. There used to be a lovely MNer whose DD was Louise.

I like Maria as well - timeless and beautiful. Alice is gorgeous.

Freya, Rose, Eve, Emma are all boring and two-a-penny.
