Old lady names for my puppy

Previous names have been Ethel, Delilah, Florence, Willow and Winifred what other names can you suggest?

What is this Hortense name? Never ever heard it before.

How is it even pronounced? Not sure I could pull it off with my Brummy twang!!!

I know 2 Hortenses. Both brisk ladies in their 80s. .

It’s pronounced HOR tense….seemingly means of the garden.

I also like Eunice.

My dog is named Elsie, but I’ve met a few kids with that name now, so I always feel a little bit awkward when people say “that’s my daughter’s name!” as if I have to say that I don’t think it’s a dog’s name, if that makes sense. We have given all our pets human names though.
