I already have a DS Jake. Is Jude too similar for a siblings name?

I think they're different enough and who cares that they're the same initial ? That really doesn't matter.

Personally I don't like matching the first letter for siblings, bit if you don't mind that i think the names are sufficiently different.

I wouldn't, too much possibility for mixing them up and calling them Jade and Juke.

For me, Jude is kind of a depressing name - Jude the obscure, St Jude patron of lost causes, but I do quite like Jake and Jude as a pair of cute brothers!

If the same first initial doesn't bother you then I think they sound just fine together I personally love both those names

They are quite matchy and just the wrong side of twee for my taste. It would work better if your Jake were a Jacob.
