DC2 is due in September. We don’t know the sex and DH and I are really struggling to find names that we both like! DC1’s name is Reuben. Please let me know which names you like from my lists and whether you have suggestions of others we might like?

The girls name on your list I'm not keen on is Lily, and that's only because it's very popular in my local area.

Of your boys, I love Ellis and a big fan of Otis and Felix too

I think you have a great list to start from. My favourites are Rosa, Violet and Imogen. Also like Jasper, Felix and Max for boys. Suggestions are Scarlett and Eliza, Oscar and Caspar. Good luck.

Edith/Edie - One of the 'old' names that seems to have ridden the revival well. Similar to Martha, I always think.
Ada - Ambivalent
Violet - Personally not great connotations, but sure it's a lovely name really
Lily - A bit wet, I think of it in the same ballpark as 'Lucy'
Rosa - Beautiful, personal favourite and I like that it has the slight Spanish twist on your flower theme
Imogen - Quite nice, middling

Jasper - Posh, rah-rah
Otis - When my mind goes to 'Redding', I love it. When it goes to 'The Aardvark', I can't help but laugh!
Joel - Middling

Love the names. My favourites would be Edie, Ada, and Jasper. Joel and Imogen aren't really to my taste but the others are all lovely!
