Rosa or Zoe

Which one would you choose? Our now 2 week old baby girl doesn’t have a name. Down to last 2. I loved Rosie but husband said no as it isn’t a grown woman’s name. I guess I could nn Rosa Rosie?

Much prefer eeee ending names. Opinion on Rosa and Zoe please.

Zoe. Prefer it to Rosa or Rosie. It’s pretty but has a certain strength to it that Rosie doesn’t imo. Great name.

I prefer Rosa over Zoe, but Rosie would be my favourite. What about Rosanna? Then she has the option of either Rosie or Rosa as a nickname. Or Rosalie if you want the "ee" sound at the end?

OrangeAndYellowAndBlue · 18/04/2022 13:10

Can't go wrong. In your situation, I'd go Rosa aka Rosie.

41andtryingforfirst · 18/04/2022 13:11

I like Rosa x

DoodleBelle · 18/04/2022 13:11

Prefer Rose or Rosalie with nickname Rosie but I’d go for Rosa of the two…Zoe just seems a little dated.

HunterHearstHelmsley · 18/04/2022 13:13

Definitely Rosa. Rosie would be quite a natural nickname.

HalleLouja · 18/04/2022 13:17

Zoe but I am biased. Rosa is lovely too.

Fivebeanchilli · 18/04/2022 13:18

I really like both.
I probably would go for Rosalie myself but would probably pick Zoe over Rosa (though it would be tight).

Justkeeppedaling · 18/04/2022 13:26

Zoe, though it should really be Zoë

FayCarew · 18/04/2022 13:42

Zoë

MartinMartinMarti · 18/04/2022 13:52

Both good, but I slightly prefer Zoe.

I’m with your husband that Rosie could be a bit limiting for an adult. Rosa/ Rosalie/ Rosanne (if you like the Z sound in Zoe) are all good options.

spearmynt · 18/04/2022 14:32

Rosa

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 18/04/2022 14:36

Prefer Zoe, don’t like flower names.

Mumofgirls2017 · 18/04/2022 15:15

Rosa

Firebird83 · 18/04/2022 15:30

Rosa. Both are nice though.

SunshiningBoo · 18/04/2022 16:39

Love Rosa.

duckie3 · 18/04/2022 16:45

Rosa is gorgeous and Zoe is a more common name nowadays

MadameDragon · 18/04/2022 16:47

Zoë

RuthW · 18/04/2022 16:59

Rosa is lovely.

Zoe is very dated.

GoodSoup · 18/04/2022 20:17

Zoe. More unusual now as Rosa is quite popular.

2pinkginsplease · 18/04/2022 20:21

Definitely Zoe, Rosa reminds me of my grans generation.

Beamur · 18/04/2022 20:23

Both are lovely. But I would choose Rosa.

dementedma · 18/04/2022 20:27

Rosa. Zoe sounds odd to my ears

Floofyfoofy · 18/04/2022 20:29

Rosa is much nicer. It is definitely having a resurgence, I know 4 under 4 & a Rosalind and a Roslyn.

merrymelodies · 18/04/2022 20:40

My mum wanted to call me Zoe. Thank goodness she didn't. I can't bear the name myself but if you like it... 🤷‍♀️
