Marlowe? For a girl

DC due this month. We’re having a surprise but have picked the name Arthur for a boy.

For a girl, DH likes his grandmothers name Meredith but I’m not too keen. I did however love the name Marlowe I’ve had it on my baby name list since I was about 18 and made one just after we started dating!

He’s a bit worried about his family banging on about how different/unique it is but I said we can’t let that stop us using the name? As he does like it too. The fact it’s unique is a con for him

Is it reaaaaally that unique? I think it’s lovely and a bit different but not enough for it to be perceived as bad

I’m literally the ONLY one in the comments section but I LOVE it. I think it’s beautiful, soft sounding and will grow with her. It is very pretty written down.

The ‘name’ is unique for a reason. Confused

I actually really like the name and I had no idea it was a town

Meredith 😄

Meredith is horrible, unless it's a surname
