Dated or due a comeback?

Peter is a lovely name.

It's nice, an underused classic and I can see it coming back.

I love Peter. I think it's such a handsome name and there are some great children's literary connection with it (Peter Rabbit, Peter Pan, Narnia). I strongly dislike Pete though.

When I was young Peter was the name of strong adventurous characters in books and films.
I think it’s a great name and with no nerdy overtones.
