Do you prefer Alice as a first name or middle name? I love the name but also have a few others on my list. I like classics like Charlotte, Grace and Sophie but can't seem to settle on one. Would love any thoughts or other suggestions thank you x

I instantly think of a soppy character like Vicar of Dibley, but I'm sure there are lovely Alice's around.

First or middle depends what you're pairing it with tbh; from the examples given I'd go:

Charlotte Alice
Alice Grace
Sophie Alice

Can't go wrong with the classics tbh all lovely 😊

I like it and think it’s by far the nicest of the names you’ve listed. However I would (and indeed did! Smile) use it as a middle name, as my taste is for more unusual first names.

You’ve listed 3 of my girls names! So we clearly have similar tastes. Fwiw, my Alice has never had the ‘who the fuck is Alice’ thing.

I'd use it as a first name. If I'd had three girls the third one would have been called Alice.

It makes me think of Alice in Wonderland, which is a very good association.

I have 9nly heard of "who the fuck is Alice on MNet I had the best ever grandma and have the best ever dd.

It is both pretty and a classic

DD2 is going to be Alice. I think it's a lovely name (obviously or I wouldn't have picked it Grin)

I absolutely love love Alice, it's a big no for my husband because one of his friend is called Alice but otherwise it would be on top of my list.

They are all very nice but very popular - Sophie and Grace a bit less so right now.

Caroline, Frances, Jane. Susannah or Serena would be less overused alternatives
