Sibling for Arthur - help with boys names

We are due another baby and don’t know the gender, my son is Arthur Edward and we love his name. My husband loves all the old fashioned names and royal names. If we have a girl we have loads of options Eliza, Evelyn, Alice, Clara. But we are struggling with boys names.

Our surname is long and ends in ey so names ending in a ey sound terrible in my opinion otherwise husband would want Henry or Charles nn Charlie. Middle name will be William after a family member.

Names we like but aren’t quite right…
Albert (I don’t like the nicknames)
Alfred (husband doesn’t like Alfie)
Frederick (husband doesn’t like Freddie)
Hugo (I worry about the posh stereotype)
Ellis (husband feels it’s too feminine)
Oliver (both don’t like Ollie)

Please help! Thankyou in advance!

Thankyou, quite like nn Pip so will ask husband about Phillip. If we considered Wilson I wouldn’t use William as the middle name, I agree it is too much! I would look into other family names to use. Possibly Charles.

Phillip nn Pip is lovely and unusual these days. Agree with PP about John, wonderful name and so uncommon these days without being weird.
Also like Peter.
