Amber - I like but it’s a bit 2005
Rowan - not keen
Sabrina - teenage witch
Cora - ok. Prefer Clara
Cordelia - very posh
Daphne

TenThousandSpoons · 08/04/2022 21:24

Oh sorry I forgot Daphne. This is my favourite on your list.

NuffSaidSam · 08/04/2022 21:27

I love Rowan.

I like Amber, it's underused imo.

I like Cora, but prefer Clara.

I'm not keen on Sabrina (teenage witch), Daphne (from Frasier, and just sounds like the name of a daft character in a book) or Cordelia (such an ugly sounding name!).

Fivebeanchilli · 08/04/2022 21:31

Amber - sorry but I've always hated this name. Just always seems tacky to me. Probably because I was at school with Amber and Chelsea sisters....
Rowan - nice. A bit too popular for boys for me to love it for a girl. I much much prefer Rowena.
Sabrina - it's ok. Teenage witch.
Cora - ok
Cordelia - gorgeous!!
Daphne - ok

Electrox · 08/04/2022 21:32

I like Amber best. I prefer Rowena to Rowan and Serena to Sabrina. I quite like Cordelia and Daphne, but am not keen on Cora (apple corer).

Amber
Rowan
Sabrina
Cora
Cordelia
Daphne

StopFeckingFaffing · 08/04/2022 21:33

Great list

Rowan, Daphne or Amber would be my choice but I like them all

I prefer Serena to Sabrina

chubbachub · 08/04/2022 21:41

Amber - i think of teen mom
Rowan - atkinson
Sabrina - teenage witch
Cora - this name is in my extended family so im biased. I like it. Is it Irish?
Cordelia - is it a flower? It sounds ok, reminds me of Ophelia

Daphne - scooby doo

MissyB1 · 08/04/2022 21:54

Amber - I like it
Rowan - hmmm not keen on it for a girl.
Sabrina - yeah teenage witch
Cora - I know it’s popular but I think it sounds harsh
Cordelia - love it!! I would shorten to Delia
Daphne - Love it!!

DramaAlpaca · 08/04/2022 22:00

Amber - it's OK, I consider it dated
Rowan - quite nice for a girl, don't like it on a boy
Sabrina - OK, a bit on the frilly side for me
Cora - this one is starting to grow on me
Cordelia - I find this one clunky
Daphne - my favourite by a long way. I never liked it, then it started to grow on me, now I adore it

Viviennemary · 08/04/2022 22:01

Amber ok
Rowan ok
Sabrina not keen
Cora nice
Cordelia not sure
Daphne awful

MadameDragon · 08/04/2022 22:03

I love Rowan for a girl. You might like Sorrel or Rumer.

LuckyMoonstone · 08/04/2022 22:03

Love Rowan for a girl

Lily2075 · 08/04/2022 22:05

Amber - chavvy
Rowan - plain
Sabrina - nice but will always make me think teenage which like PP have said
Cora - LOVE. Elegant, feminine.
Cordelia - old fashioned and not in a good way. Stuck up.
Daphne - okay, I'm not sure anyone under 75 should be called Daphne though. Also scooby doo.

saritapdot · 08/04/2022 22:10

Amber - okay - reminds me of Dr House, feels a bit American
Rowan - nice enough name but personally I would find unisex names annoying
Sabrina - bit 90s
Cora - nice enough
Cordelia - too frilly
Daphne - interesting and original but don't quite like the actual sound

How about
Meredith
Marina
Aurelia
Zoe
Jennifer

yikesanotherbooboo · 08/04/2022 22:16

I like Daphne the best.
Cordelia next.
Cora is nice; I like it's plainess,it feels very current if that is a problem.
Rowan, ok , would the fact that it is used for boys and girls be a problem?
I'm not a fan or Sabrina or Amber .

WeasilyPleased · 08/04/2022 22:44

I really like Amber and Daphne. That bloody c word has been used about Amber. I strongly disagree. One of the poshest people I know named her daughter Amber.

Synchrony · 08/04/2022 22:48

Amber - like. I know a lovely Amber.
Rowan - I only like this for boys.
Sabrina - like. Never met one in real life.
Cora - forgettable.
Cordelia - nice
Daphne - love

TracyMosby · 08/04/2022 22:51
  1. Daphne - love this
  2. Cora - classic. My fav name atm.
  3. Sabrina - loved bewitched
  4. Cordelia - love this also. Loved Buffy.

Dislike both Amber and Rowan

Mumofgirls2017 · 09/04/2022 05:32

Amber- dated
Rowan- prefer on boy
Sabrina- witch
Cora- love
Cordelia- prefer Cora
Daphne- love

antibacterial · 09/04/2022 08:54

Amber - nice. Would sound very refreshing these days. Joint favourite
Rowan - overused for boys and RoMan with M is the fastest rising boy name. Currently top 30 but on course to be top 10 soon. I'd avoid a name so similar to the top trending boy name.
Sabrina - too frilly for me but ok
Cora - love
Cordelia - too frilly for me
Daphne - love this name, my joint favourite

babynamelover · 09/04/2022 08:58

I like Cora a lot. Also think Sabrina is lovely.

froi · 09/04/2022 09:00

I suspect that there will be a lot of Daphnes born in the next year or two courtesy of Bridgerton. Not a bad thing per say but be aware that it won't be rare or different in her cohort.

KirstenBlest · 09/04/2022 11:48

Amber - nice
Rowan - nice
Sabrina - not sure, quite a strong name. Prefer Sabina
Cora - not keen
Cordelia - prefer Delia
Daphne - like but it will be Daph

WithANameLikeDaniCalifornia · 09/04/2022 11:53

Amber - bit "down-market" or whatever the MN term is
Rowan - nice
Sabrina - teenage witch
Cora - don't like it
Cordelia - nice
Daphne - terrible

bloominglovelyorange · 09/04/2022 12:17

Amber - unusual these days - like a lot
Rowan - my baby girl's name. Always get shortened to Row (which I hate) and also gets muddled with all the baby Romans (with an M) which I hadnt realised was so popular when I picked name. Everywhere I go theres a couple of baby Romans and everyone comments and gets confused and I hate it. Might not bother you.
Sabrina - three syllables I find a bit long
Cora - great choice
Cordelia - too long
Daphne - love this and always suprised its not more popular
