Michelangelo?

Hello, just to give you a bit of background. We live in the uk, I am British, but my husband is fully Italian. Hence the name Michelangelo. I want to use it as a middle name & think it would be a great way to honour my grandfather Michael (who I am also named after, my middle name is Michaela). Plus it is has the Italian link to it as well. Thoughts & opinions? Thank you x

Lovely idea. Perhaps a shorter first name so it’s not a huge mouthful!

First name is short 😊

Beautiful but he will probably end up being called Mike which is a bit less beautiful.

Fleur405 · 05/04/2022 20:13

I like it but it will be mispronounced (as if it’s Michael-Angelo but it’s not like will be totally mangled).

BishyBarnyBee · 05/04/2022 20:14

Oh, missed that it will be a middle name, no problem then.

Gorgeous as a middle name ,especially with the Italian and Michaela link.

Does anyone remember Mike and Angelo? sidetracked

Middle names really don't matter as long as they aren't offensive or rhyming with the first name.

Sounds lovely. Middle names are very rarely used, so I wouldn’t worry about it at all!!
