Final girls name list - thoughts??

Hello all!

I’m booked in for a C section on Friday and just wanted some thoughts on our final girls name list. Which are your favourites (and worst!) and what kind of image do they conjure up?

DD1’s name is Maggie 😊. Happy for some last minute suggestions if you can think of any with the same kind of vibe.

Cassie (maybe Cassia on BC but DP isn’t so sure)
Rosa
Flora
Sylvie
Alma (DP not so sure on this one, but says he could be persuaded! He says it’s a bit too Coronation St, but I think it’s got a beautiful sound, looks lovely written)

Flora is nice.

Rosa is lovely, my fav. Flora also nice but reminds me of butter? Cassie is ok, I know someone called Cassandra which I think is much nicer

Bit of a mixed bag as expected but glad the general consensus is positive! It’s nice to get the uncensored view of internet strangers. We’ve not shared the names with anyone we know as don’t want their views shaping our choices.

Thanks for all the suggestions! Lots that one of us have liked but not the other, but nothing jumping out that we’ve not considered before. I feel like I’ve considered every name under the sun

Oh and I’m not keen on Casandra.. feels a bit middle aged to me

Robyn is lovely. I’m also due a baby girl any day now and we have settled (I think ) on Lyla. Best of luck it’s a hard decision x

Yes, I have a feeling that in 5 years Alma will join the ranks of Ivy and Ada etc

Sylvie or Flora are both lovely.

Nice list.

Robyn - prefer it spelt Robin. I really want to like it, but it feels slightly dated to me, a bit like Amber or Heather.
Cassie - really like, but only as nn for Cassia / Cassandra
Rosa - like. I know a couple of little ones. Prefer the simplicity of Rose.
Flora - dislike. Love Fleur and Fern. Florence is also nice.
Sylvie - ok, love Sylvia
Alma - beautiful

All lovely names. You cantgo wrong but I like Cassia best.

Favourite is Flora, or Cassie/Cassia

But think Sylvie or Alma go best with Maggie

I had a crazy pregnancy dream last night that because the baby was born on April Fools Day it came out a boy, but the rule was that if a baby came out the opposite sex you had to use the closest names to your chosen list.. so we had to choose from:

Robyn - Robin
Cassie - Caspian
Rosa - Ross
Flora - Florian
Sylvie - Sylvester
Alma - Alan

Pahahahha!!! Some are definitely better than others. Unfortunately my alarm went off before we could choose

Really like them all except for Flora and Alma

What about Alba instead of alma?

Alma is super popular in Scandinavia, I know of 4 baby Alma's born to Swedish, Danish and Finnish parents this year alone. It's definitely making a huge comeback in Europe

Robyn is the only one I really dislike.

I like the name Cassie best and I think it goes well with Maggie.

Cassie is definitely my favourite from your list. Cassia is even better.
