DDs are Ruby and Arabella

I absolutely love Hugo for a boy but wonder is it too similar sounding to Ruby? And then makes Arabella seem like the odd one out?

Is Ruby, Arabella and Hugo an ok sounding combination?

If I had to pick a 'pair' out of the three names, I would say Hugo and Arabella are the most similar of the three.

Sound lovely to me! I don't know how important it is for siblings names to blend as they get older- they will only really be referred to as a trio by family!

Yes, in terms of style. They are aristocratic in style.

They are all nice names.

Hugo doesn’t sound close enough to Ruby to be a problem.
Arabella and Hugo feel like a pair (posh vibe, although obviously generally popular these days). Ruby is more Edwardian music Hall vibe, but nice with it.

Sorry - but what a ghastly word: sibset. Neither Hugo or Arabella or Ruby is posh - whatever that means - today. But who on earth are they or anyone else to set the rules??? And they're not going to be joint performers for OP ever, if at all.

I think you’re overthinking it; they sound fine together to me.

I know a Hugo and Arabella (although she's always known as Bella) so those two names definitely work together in my head.
