Which spelling do you prefer- Luca or Luka?

Luca , I have one DS with this name. Easy to pronounce, spell although people sometimes think its Lucas .Suits any future profession e.g arty vs academic combo with title ( surprised how many people don't think about that aspect ) can't be shortened, unusual in UK but not too unusual.
I love it plus not too many others with same name.

I prefer how Luka looks written down. However Luca is the more popular spelling in the UK (I’m just assuming that’s where you are). So on balance I’d probably go for Luca. Good luck.

It’s very popular though, and came out of nowhere so it will date. Luke or Lucas are more classic and will date better if that bothers you.

I look after a Luka. It's a girls name in Lithuania where the mum is from so for a boy I would go with Luca.

Both are nice but Luka looks like an alternative to Luke so I'd go with Luca. Not that there's anything wrong with Luke!

I couldn't remember how the song was spelt, I thought it was Luca but it's Luka. The song was the first time I'd heard the name. Lovely song, even though it is very sad.

I know a man Luka. He has Croatian heritage. So I don't think it's as simple as K for a girl C for a boy.

It might be, the ‘Luka’ I know is a girl from Eastern Europe, but her parents might have chosen a male or unisex name for her 🤷🏻‍♀️

Luca if you have Italian heritage, Luka if Eastern European, Lucas if neither.
