If you both love and agree on Mia, have Mia. I think it’s just a load of nonsense saying it’s ‘too popular’ ( I say this as someone who had four other girls with the same name as me at junior school! )

I can only think of one person in my life who doesn’t look like their name. She is called Gladys and she’ll be in her 40s now and she was drop dead gorgeous and so cool! And she didn’t give two hoots about her name which made her even cooler!

You have some nice names on that list, but Mia is very overused and pronounced 3 ways (My-ah, Mee-ah, May-ah) so I wouldn't use that.

Aster, Astra, Stella, Thora, Briar, Anna, Esther, Hannah, Honor, Oona, Aphra, Zara, Ida, Ciara, Clara, Hera, Dora, Freya, Freda, Georgia, Philippa nn Pippa, might all be alternatives..

Or from your list, perhaps Marianne, Beatrice nn Bea, Christabel, Jasmine, Robin, Jane, Emmeline, Caroline, Clementine, Adela, Cassia, Louisa, Frances, Francesca, Serena, Lois

Maya or Maia? It is similar but I feel like it is a bit more substantial with a longer history.
