Jacob or George

Looking for some help regarding two names for my baby son

George or Jacob

Has already older brother Oscar just turned 2 in January
Surname starts with F

Like Jacob but dislike the names that can be shortened, especially in Scotland jakey means an alcoholic

George is nice too and I like it but does it sound too harsh?

What goes better with Oscar

Middle name for Jacob would be Jackson
Middle name for George would be James

Jacob (but not Jackson) (though I presume that is a family name rather than a surname used as first name? Don’t like it as a ‘first name’, and giving it as a middle name will cause confusion, I.e is his surname Jackson Fxxxxx ? ).

I love Jacob. I've never met one, I can spell it and it's easy to pronounce. I'm not so keen on Jackson but middle names are far less important.

Originally it was supposed to be Jacob James F but then we found out that Jacob and James- exactly the same name

Has anyone ever met Jacob or George, any feedback on personalities or character traits?

I know a wonderful George. Or, Gorgeous George as I call him (not to his face now he's a teen though).

I love Jacob (it's one of my son's MN - family name). He's a funny, calm and curious baby.
Not the biggest fan of the Jacob Jackson combo though. On the other hand I think Jacob and Oscar go very well together, better than Oscar and George.
George is a lovely name though and it flows better with the chosen middle name.
