It's probably due a revival but isn't a favourite for me, I don't mind it though and wouldn't bat an eyelid at a baby Morag. The only one I know in rl is in the Borders and it's pronounced Mo-rig with a short "o". I'd normally pronounce it Mow (to rhyme with Hoe) -rag.

I really like Lorna though :)

It's possibly due a revival. I know one young Morag and she shortens it to Mo. Is it a Scottish name you want? Isla is a lovely alternative, albeit very popular. Or there's Iona or Mairi.
